Abi completed her Honours Bachelor of Science and Master of Biotechnology at the University of Toronto. She then spent ten years in pharmaceutical advertising as a Content Strategist before returning to her longstanding interest in human psychology. She went on to complete her Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling at Tyndale University and is currently a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), as well as a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). Abi joined the DJA team after completing her internship with the practice.

Drawing on her background in marketing and communication, Abi places strong value on listening and thoughtful engagement. Abi has experience supporting individuals, children, families, and couples from diverse backgrounds, including first- and second-generation Canadians. Her work includes supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and challenges related to identity and belonging. Abi is committed to fostering growth at all stages of life and works collaboratively with clients to strengthen their sense of self and enhance their relationships.

Abi has been married for over ten years and enjoys taking mini road trips with her husband to explore the beauty of nature. She previously taught piano and continues to play in her free time. She also enjoys listening to audiobooks while knitting or crocheting.
