Distress Centre Durham, 24/7 Crisis Line

Specially trained volunteers are available to provide non-judgmental, empathetic, and confidential support for a wide range of issues, including mental health concerns, loneliness, addiction, abuse, and suicidal feelings. 

Mood Disorders Association of Ontario, Support Line

The Mood Disorders Association of Ontario(operating as Hope + Me) provides a toll-free telephone support line for individuals and families affected by depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders. 

Pinewood, 24/7 Crisis Line

Pinewood Centre in Oshawa has a variety of mental health and addiction services, but it does not have its own 24/7 crisis line. Its crisis services are offered through partnerships with other organizations

The Assaulted Women’s 24/7 Help Line

The Assaulted Women's Helpline offers a 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis line to all women who have experienced abuse. They provide counselling, emotional support, information and referrals and have service in multiple languages.

The Kid’s Help Line

The Kids Help Phone website also provides a wealth of self-serve resources, a peer-to-peer community forum, and a search tool to find local community services. All services are available for any issue, big or small, and are designed to be non-judgmental and inclusive. 

Telehealth Ontario 24/7 Line

The Telehealth Ontario 24/7 line is now Health811, a free service you can call at 811 anytime to speak with a registered nurse for health advice or to find health services. You can also access the service online through the Health811 website.
